Investing in the Stock Market can give you Choices in Retirement
Noel Edwards reveals how he Mastered his Investing style
As we get closer to retirement we are also probably getting closer to having more spare time. The kids have grown up, left home and we are rambling around in that big empty nest. We are no longer having to
provide that taxi service and introducing ourselves as Billy’s mother anymore. This is the time in our lives were we get to enjoy me time. We get to choose what we want to do instead what we have to do.
The choices are endless. For those that takes the time to indulge in having a look around your community for options to spend this precious time. We have in Australia many worthwhile organizations, some are international, and some are local. Some are charities that help those less fortunate than ourselves and raise money for Medical Research like Lions International, Zonta and Red Cross. Some are for the benefit of bringing their community together like the Seniors groups and others are there for educational purposes like the U3A (University of the Third Age), where tutors are found from within the members.
It is all about keeping busy, active and keeping the mind active. I have many tell me that they are busier in retirement than ever before. The favourite pastime for Retirees is Travel but most of can’t afford to travel 365 days of the year so what else are you going to do. Those that have the most successful retirements are those that have found a few worthwhile groups to join and combine helping those in need, travel, looking after their homes and gardens, having a few hobbies and engaging in activities that stimulate the mind.
Some of us are self-directed investors that look after the investing of their own nest eggs. Whether by need or for the challenge there are many of us out there that are making good money investing in the stock market?
